Guest Walter Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Hello, I am running Windows XP Home plus SP3 and any updates. In the Windows directory I have a lot of directories $NtServicePackUninstall$ and $NtUninstallKxxx, can I delete them so to release some hard drive space?

Guest ju.c Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Re: $NtServicePackUninstall$ Copy them to a disc first, in case you need to uninstall later. But you must keep "C:\WINDOWS\$hf_mig$" !!! ju.c "Walter" <Walter@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:79B742E8-57AC-4789-ABB2-B33A11C393D0@microsoft.com... > Hello, I am running Windows XP Home plus SP3 and any updates. > In the Windows directory I have a lot of directories > $NtServicePackUninstall$ and $NtUninstallKxxx, can I delete them so to > release some hard drive space?
