Moving our Enterprise CA to a new Server

We'd like to move our Enterprise CA to a new server. Reading through kb

article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/298138, I noticed it

states, in step 5 for Windows 2003:

 

"Rename the old server, or permanently disconnect it from the network."

 

What are the ramification if we don't rename it? Are there hooks into AD

that will get into trouble if we don't?

The answer it's a note from step 6 that says:

Note: The new server must have the same computer name as the old server

Oh, I see. So the only way to move the Enterprise CA is to another system

with the same name? There doesn't appear to be a way to move it to another

server with a different name then I guess.
