Server 2003 ntbackup to external hard drive

I'm thinking of buying a couple of external 1TB harddrives to augment my

tape backup. Is it possible to use NTBackup to backup some critical folders

plus Exchange 2003?

I assume you're talking about external USB disks. If so then

connecting a $10.00 flash disk and running ntbackup.exe

to back up a small folder will give you an authoritative answer

in less than a minute.
