wiab4355 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I've got a large USB external HDD for backups etc which is behaving a bit oddly. It seems to (and I can't describe it any better than this) lose contact with Windows for a few moments and then makes contact again. Which is OK most of the time, but when I'm writing a large file to it and this happens, I get a write error message balloon from the system tray area. Any ideas anyone? Quote
