tune428 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Please help. When my windows vista boots up I get in the safe mode. If I select normal or last non config it just restarts. then it goes to safe mode again. I have formated the hard drive and reinstalled vista home premuim. If I do the the windows updates it will give me the same problem. Is there something I can do where I can update windows and not worry about having this load issue? I thought I had a bad HDD and have replaced it once. Quote

When you put the new hard drive in and installed Vista ( before the updates ) can you boot up normally ? Is the system stable before updating ? Do you get any STOP messages ( Blue Screens ) ?
