Automatic logon of RDP Client not working.

The environment is XP embedded (Thin Client)

On a 'normal' XP PC I have been saving user's name/password in their RDP

file so their logon is automatic.

Now the RDP Client dialogue box does not even allow for the entry of the

user/pwd and users MUST enter their logon details every time.

RE: Automatic logon of RDP Client not working.

I probably have to install V5 of the RDP client.

What do you think. I have looked everywhere for a workaround. No go.

Re: Automatic logon of RDP Client not working.

Since TSC 6.0 the passwords aren't stored in the RDP files anymore. For the

credential management to work propperly you need Winlogon (Minlogon will not

work), or you downgrade to TSC 5.x.

Nevertheless, you can call/execute password included RDP files that were

pregenerated by TSC 5.x, but you will not be able to generate new ones with

TSC 6.0.
