Hi, I down loaded all my video files from my Flip camera and deleted the files from the camera itself. I know can't find those files anywhere - can anyone help or suggest a fix? Is there a way to view the history of the computer to see where they have been stored?

thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to ExTS

I don't use Win7 - I hope this is correct.

Click the Start button.

On the right side of the box that appears should be "Recent Items"

If the files are there you can point the curser at them and the location should appear.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

It's called "recent places" on windows 7. Just type this into the search bar from the start menu and click on recent places under "files". Edited by Boomer

I had this problem when I first got win 7 I could not find something I had downloaded from my dvd camcorder.

I found them in the end in a folder called virtualstore

You have to show hidden files and folder on you system.

To open the hidden files and folders. Open a folder on your computer in the top left corner of the window click organize on the drop down menu click folder and search options. Click view

Click on the show hidden files.folders

Now if you go to the virtualstore folder

Local disk/ user /name (your name)/appdata/local/virtaulstore

There is also a folder call roaming in the appdata folder have a look in there aswell they could be in there

Hope this helps
