Guest mm_64_it Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 i understand from area code rules help that if i want to dial someone in another city using phone dialer by creating a rule i don't need to dial area code of that person everytime that i dial that person's number, i did so but it didn't work.i mean i dialed just the subscriber number but his area code had not been dialed automatically

Where I live we have to use all ten digits even for local calls. But (from a landline) we don't have to prefix the ten-digit number with a "1" unless we're calling an out-of-the-area number.
