Guest Peter Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 XP Home SP3 I have a couple of entries in the Startup tab of Msconfig relating to programmes that have unistalled long ago. I also could not find them in regedit. How do I get rid of the entries, please? Thank you. JB

The disabled entries are present in these locations: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder Cleanup the MSCONFIG startup tab listings http://windowsxp.mvps.org/MSCONFIG.htm 148.
