dsa.msc starts with strange message

Hello,

 

since we have installed SQL2005 Server and the SP2 for SQL2005 on one of our

monitoring servers (2003 sp2), we see a very strange message when starting

Users and Computers.

 

"Adding snap-in to console..."

 

and a progressbar running through for a few times.

afte about 2 minutes or so, the dsa loads as usual and works fine.

This happens everytime we start dsa.msc.

 

Anyone has any idea about this?

Hello Stefan,

 

This message happens since MMC version 3 is installed. Don't know why it

takes longer, but you can ignore it. Think there is some change in the way

of loading the MMC's.
