Hi,

My windows server 2003 controller can not browse any computer in domain or

net work although it can ping to all computers in this domain and these

computers can be viewed Active Directory User and Computer. When I explore

the Microsoft Windows Network >Mydomain. I also see the controller itself

(the one I am working on) not any computers in this domain. How can I set up

to able to browse all computers in this domain.

Thank you very much.

Hello QuyNguyen,

Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the clients:

network properties>TCP/IP>advanced>WINS>enable netbios over TCP

If this not help install a WINS server, especially if you have more then

one subnet.

Best regards

Please post all Event log errors on the DCs. Post the EventID# and Source

names. If there are any on the clients, post them too.

Also, please post an unedited ipconfig /all from a DC and of a client. This

will help us understand your infrastructure and configuration to get a

better idea if there is an error.

Also, is NetBIOS enabled on all DCs and clients?
