Guest Moi Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 XP home. I am seeing a strange thing... I have recently found two files on the root of C; One is called vcredist X86.log and the other is HCPSTool.log. They are both text files and appear to have been recording some file activity. I'm pretty sure I've never had this before. What are they all about please?

Did you look them up in a Google search? There might be something there, and that's what I'd do if I stIll had questions after opening them up in Notepad and examining their contents.

I don't know about the other file.
