I am sure this has been covered before, but I am using Outlook Express and I

do not know how to search the archives.

I have XP Pro installed with SP3 and plenty of memory, both disk and on

board (2gb). I tried Microsoft Update and received the message that 11

updates failed to install, even after several tries. Is there a definitive

fix to this problem? The updates apparently downloaded OK.

Thanks,

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft

Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP

installation:

NB: Also applies to clean installs, upgrade installs, and Recovery installs.

Re: Failed Updates

Try this

You cannot install updates that you download from the Windows Update Web

site on a Windows XP-based computer.
