Guest WetBehindEars Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Can you do that and will it work properly?

TS should be run by itself so that users aren't affected performance wise. Guest WetBehindEars Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Re: Installing WSS 3.0 on a TS server? Ok. How about in this scenario. Its a business of 5 people with two servers. The first server is the DC along with everything else (Exchange/file server/BES). We installed a new TS box for them. Dual core 64 bit box and 200gb of disk space. There is less then 10 gigs of space on the DC and their server is about 5 years old. There may be two people accessing the TS at any given time. I figured the TS box would be better because of the space issue, load balancing, memory capabilities and processor speed. What are your thoughts on this? Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Re: Installing WSS 3.0 on a TS server? Ah in that case, you should be fine. It sounds like you have more than enough resources that you won't have any inference with that few users.
