Hi there, Every time I turn on my computer I get the follow error message:

Can not find Script file "C":\windows\Systems32\KillVBS.vbs"...I do not know

what that means. I have since downloaded at least three different virus

scans...i.e. AVG, superantispyware, Anti-Malware and Hijack this...and so far

it does not look like I have a virus...maybe only the flu?

What is wrong with my computer and what do I need to do to get rid of that

error box...

Thanks so much...LuLu

Check your startup items by running MSConfig. It may be an old script that

used to run at startup but is no longer there, thus the error message (BTW,

computers don't get the flu). If you do find a startup item that corresponds

to this in MSConfig just uncheck it and the error message should stop

appearing at startup.

Re: WINDOWS SCRIPT ERROR

killVBS.vbs is a virus, trojan, spyware, adware which you can remove

File killVBS.vbs is located in a not identifiable folder. The file size on Windows XP is 0 bytes.

The program has a visible window. killVBS.vbs is a file without information about the maker of this file. Note: File does not exist any longer. Program starts upon Windows startup (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit). It is not a Windows core file.
