Try going into CMD from Troubleshoot and type:del "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History\Service\DetectionHistory\*" del "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\mpenginedb.db"and del rest of mp cache filesThen turn off real time + cloud protections and restart PC. Then turn them back on. It worked for me after fighting for awhile so maybe someone will benefit from it. Continue reading... Quote
