KenB Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Hi and welcome to ExTS Your Processor is 2.8GHz - better than the 2.2GHz required. If this is your motherboard: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00864946&lc=en&cc=us#N278 You have 1 PCIe slot available. Take a look here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-performance-radeon-geforce,2997-3.html You don't say which card "gave up". Depending on what this was - you may need to upgrade your PSU to power any new card. KenB Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Your motherboard is as I posted above. See here: https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00835812&lc=en&dlc=nl&cc=uk&aoid=&product=3349278&lang=nl#N68 My previous post is correct. Your PSU is only 300Watt. If you upgrade your Video Card ( depending upon what you select ) the PSU will need upgrading too - to something like 500 - 600 Watt. Gavin1985 Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 the geforce 7500 le was the one that gave up on me im looking for a replacement as my onboard card is crap. lookin to spend 40ish pound n i no ill prb need a new psu Quote
KenB Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 n i no ill prb This is not a phone ! The motherboard supports upto 4GB - your game suggests 4GB. If you havn't got 4GB then you would need to upgrade this too to comply with the specs in your first post. The suggested card from your first post can be bought here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001V9FA6I/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001UGXVJ0&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=1ED1WVFX057YEBGZAPDX You will not get an equivalent one for half the price.
