Hi All

I am attempting to use the indexing service to index the emails that I have

dragged and dropped into My Documents from Microsoft Outlook.

I have read several sets of instructions on how to work the indexing service

and the instructions say that files created in Microsoft Outlook can be

indexed. I set it up and it starts scanning but then I can't get any search

results when I query the catalog.

I am pretty sure that I have checked all relevant boxes and changed the

proper options and settings but I must be missing something because it's not

doing it's job.

I appreciate any help

Thanks

Re: Indexing emails

When it states files created in Outlook I suspect its refering to the

Outlook data file.

When you drag a mail to Documents thats not a file created by Outlook, but a

msg file created by win.

Personnally I use a third party Search tool
