Short headings in outlook

The folders panel, left of screen in Outlook, is showing truncated headings.

 

For example: Sent Items is displayed as Sent Iten ; Inbox has 1/2 the x missing.

Amount of truncation varies from heading to heading, one has 3.5 letters missing.

 

Any suggestions why?? This started some 2 months ago.

 

Not critical, but very puzzling!

Is it possible that the folder pane is too narrow and is cutting off the letters? What happens if you drag the edge of the pane to the right?

Hi, No that is not the problem which is why this is so strange. It's as if a false window is applied over the text showing the start but cutting off the end???
