Offline files enabled automatically???

Recently we have had several instances of offline files being enabled

automatically on random users desktop PC's. We have no idea how this is

happening, but random users are reporting strange messages - and when I

investigate I find that Offline Files are enabled. Does anyone know why

offline files would be enabled automatically at random times for random users?
