See if you can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en&familyid=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en Click Save and save it to a folder on your HDD. Close all programs and turn off your anti-virus program and then install it. ..NET Framework versions are all different program and not cumulative. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP
Guest ADKR Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 RE: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 SOLUTION I found this solution from another post. Thanks Robin! Robin Walker [MVP Networking] rdhw@cam.ac.uk Please search your entire hard disk for either or both of the following files, and, if you find them, delete them. Flash.ocx Swflash.ocx Then try update 913433 again "ADKR" wrote: > I could not find a .NET forum. > > I have .NET 3.5 installed. Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Re: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Except that KB913433 is not .NET Framework 1.1 SP1! 1. Write down what .NET Framework versions are already installed before you go uninstalling/removing any of them! How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and whether service packs have been applied http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785 2. Now see Resolutions Methods 1 or 2 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100 (ignore the title).
