how know/log user turn off computer without proper shutdown

i am really annoyed some users turn off computer abruptly without proper

shutdown Windows XP, so systems got into problems from time to time.

 

Is there a way I can know/log when and in what system status users turn

off computers without proper shutdown? so I can find out the reason and

solve it accordingly.

you can't stop people from pressing the powerbutton.

but you can see who the last user was when power was shutdown.

just use the event viewer and also educate all your users, don't single one

out for the lessons.
