Guest Billy Ng Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Morning all, my XP Pro. the language bar (»y¨¥¦C), i.e. a small keyboard icon on the taskbar, no show from the taskbar. I have try to right-click from the taskbar and select the language bar, but no language bar selected. How to resume the language bar icon? Thanks!!
Guest Rey Santos Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 RE: lauguage icon disappear Try this: Contro lPanel > Regional and Language Options box > Languages tab, under Text Services and Input Languages, click the Details... button > On the Text Services and Input Language box, Settings tab, under Preferences, click the Language Bar...button . On the Language Bar Settings box, click to check the boxes Show the language bar on the Desktop, Show additional Language bar icons in the taskbar and Show text labels on the Language bar. Uncheck Show the Language bar as transparent when inactive. If the other check boxes are disabled, uncheck the first box and check it again, this will enable the other boxes. -- Rey "Billy Ng" wrote: > Morning all, my XP Pro. the language bar (»y¨¥¦C), i.e. a small keyboard > icon on the taskbar, no show from the taskbar. Guest Rey Santos Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Re: lauguage icon disappear Which button: Details button or Language bar button? Buttons are clicked not selected. On the last part of my previous post, where you are to select the check boxes: "If the other check boxes are disabled," it could also read as "If the other check boxes are grayed". If that what you mean please continue with the instructions. -- Rey "Billy Ng" wrote: > Thanks, Rey. By the way, the button was gray and cannot be selected. Guest Rey Santos Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Re: lauguage icon disappear Try this too it could solve the problem: On the Text Services and Input Languages box, move to Advanced tab instead of the Settings tab. If the check box under System Configuration is checked, uncheck it, then click Apply button, then check the Language bar button in the Settings tab. If that does activate the Language bar button, under installed services you must have at least two services installed. Click the Add button... . In the Add Input Language under Input language choose another from the drop down menu. Click OK, you'll return to the previous box, click Apply button. If you have script blocking software like Spybot Search and Destroy a box will pop up, please allow the change to take place. You can also choose to add the Speech Recognition instead of the keyboard layout. For Settings of the Language Bar, please refer to my first post. -- Rey "Rey Santos" wrote: > Which button: Details button or Language bar button? Buttons are clicked not > selected.
