Guest Richard Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Our dc (a 2003 server) is configured to sync with an external source (tick.usno.navy.mil). Workstations in the domain of course are configured to sync with the dc. The dc syncs with the external source to the second, whereas the workstations are about 15 seconds behind. I tried the command below to one of the workstations but to no avail. w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update then net stop w32time > net start w32time Is the 15 second delay between the dc and workstations by default? Any commnent is appreciated. Thanks!

If I remote into the server and display Time/Date all domain members are within 1 second of the PDC emulator. We have Gigabit/sec switches, CAT6 cabling, and a mix of 100Mbit/s and 1Gbit/s Ethernet cards. -- Regards, Newell White
