Mag476 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 (edited) Please post the make and model of your tv as that would help tremendously :) Check to see if theres any interference when you play with the VGA wire connected to your TV, just gently play around with the wire while its connected to your laptop and see if there is any flickering. Is your tv near any wireless equipment? it could be signal interference. Try moving your laptop further away from your TV (Long shot, but it does happen). It could also be your laptop refresh rate is higher or lower than what the vga cable is allowing your tv to display at (standard vga cables are usually only capable of putting out around 75hz) so if your tv can support 100hz+ (which is common for most big screen tv's nowadays) it could cause tearing, try setting your laptop refresh rate to 50-75hz. They usually go up in increments of 5, but can vary, so test them all and see if it makes a difference. Hope this helps. Edited October 1, 2011 by Mag476 Quote
