GG-MAN Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone, I am in desperate need of some information for a new graphics card. about a year ago my parents bought me a new personal computer. Now this computer worked more then fine for me, until some new games like Crysis 2 and now the Battlefield 3 beta came out. These games really shocked me cause of my extremely low fps on low quality video settings. My computer has the following properties: Packard Bell 'ipower' G3720 Intel core i7 CPU 4,00 GB RAM Nvidia GT 330 500W peak wattage, 450W max wattage. as it seems the graphical card is bad, though the processor does not seem to be a problem, according to my friends, who are more knowledged about hardware then I am. What is the best graphics card that is compatible with my PC? I'd like to spend something around 200 euro max. Im satisfied with ANY kind of help. PS, If I forgot some important information to add, please say so. Edited September 29, 2011 by GG-MAN Quote
KenB Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Hi and welcome to ExTS Take a look here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-performance-radeon-geforce,2997.html The cards are arranged by price. The $110 - 175 range may suit you. 450Watt PSU may just be enough. It depends on the card that you select. Many Video Cards require a 4 / 6 pin on-board connector. If your PSU does not have this as an option it is possible to get an adapter. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
