Hi,

After I select show hidden files and folders in Folder options an error

appears stating Window Explorer encountered a problem...... Must shut down

But when I un-select show hidden files and folders the error does not appear.

I am also having a problem with Windows Media Palyer 6.0 shutting down after

video is played even though it's set to repeat play.

thank you

What is the malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean,

what programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

Re: Windows Explorer Shuts down after hidden check off

Hello,

I am using Ad A Ware and SpyBot along with AVG Antivirus.

Nothing unusual is coming up in the scans, I also tried HiJack This-

but do not see anything really out of the ordinary.

Please go through the removal steps I already gave you which are more

thorough than what you've done. Do not skip the preparatory work. If you

want someone to take a look at your HJT log, register at one of the

following specialty forums. Please do not post logs in the MS newsgroups.
