Guest Kenny Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Hello, Brand new server with Windows Server 2003 R2. The flash drive device loads fine without any errors and is seen under Device Manager listed under drives; however, the USB drive is not seen listed under My Computer. I've tried three different flash drives and rebooted the server. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
Guest David Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Re: USB Drive recognized but not seen you probably need to asign it a drive letter. go to start run and type diskmgmt.msc "Kenny" <Kenny@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1E712D5E-5419-409B-838D-F1AA0503B937@microsoft.com... > Hello, > > Brand new server with Windows Server 2003 R2. Guest Kenny Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Re: USB Drive recognized but not seen Thank you David. That was my problem. Originally, the USB Drive was using the same drive letter for a network drive. I changed it to another letter and it instantly showed up. I appreciate the help.
