When Windows XP starts up there are multiple folder windows that open after

startup. They have to be manually closed everytime.

Any ideas how to correct/fix this problem?

Here's one thing to check.

Go to Control Panel and double click Folder Options.

In Folder Options, click on the View tab.

In the Advanced settings box, make sure 'Restore previous folder windows at

logon' is unchecked.

If that doesn't help, post back with the names of the folders that are opening

and indicate if they're the same folders each time you start your computer.

Good luck

Thank you for responding... Actually found a fix within the "msconfig"

utility - startup tab area.
