I have a win server 2003 r2 which has died and now been replaced with a new

server. The old server had 5 TS licences. I have a copy of the old drive.

Are the licences stored in the Registry? Is it possible to extract them from

the registry? I have a registry program that will load registry hives from a

Windows folder.

Re: Extract licence keys

You need to reapply the licenses after calling the MS clearinghouse to free

them up again.

Re: Extract licence keys

Before you call, make sure you have the original order information. They

will require it...
