mij Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I am using firefox (latest up-date) and when I go to Sue Warnes art forum it does not show the security code to our left of the box to where I copy it to. I have tried accessing the site using Int Exp as well and the same thing happens in that the code is shown as a blue circle with a stripe from top right to bottom left crossing it. It also shows these instead of a row of smilies below the reply section. I have tried to ask Sue Warne about this but she has not replied - I assume she is equally at a loss about this and is unable to suggest any thing. Others appear to be posting with out a problem - well it's not exactly a busy forum. I wonder if you are able to shed any light on this matter. Ayoubart is the name under which her site trades. Is this sufficient info? jim Quote
KenB Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Hi Jim forum it does not show the security code to our left of the box I have had a look at the site and I can see nothing like what you explain. No box - no request for security code. Do you have to be logged in to see this? It sounds like a site software problem. If they have recently updated the Version Software this could be a resultant problem. Only they would know. Download SR IRON (browser) http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_download.php If you get an advertising pop-up close it with the X top right. Try this. It is not a commonly used one. mij Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 Thanks for the reply and for trying out the site. Also for proving that what I said was fact. The site owner has not got back to me. I have tried the alternative browser and it shows the same - little blue banned signs. Ah well thanks anyway. jim Quote
KenB Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 little blue banned signs. Have you been banned from the site ? This would explain why you can't log on.
