Faulting application

Does anyone know what DBGHelp.dll is responsible for? I'm recieving the

following error on my Citrix/Terminal Servers (2003 R2):

 

Event Type: Information

Event Source: Application Error

Event Category: (100)

Event ID: 1004

Date: 7/23/2008

Time: 7:49:47 AM

User: N/A

Computer: FALCONCTX

Description:

Reporting queued error: faulting application DMDesktop.exe, version

7.2.0.66, faulting module dbghelp.dll, version 5.2.3790.3959, fault address

0x00033705.

I've used filemon and a dll viewer, and I never see it accessed or

registered. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Here is what I found.

 

dbghelp.dll is a module that contains functions used for the symbol engine

and for the symbol and module enumeration.

Part of: Windows Image

Re: Faulting application

 

Thanks Rick. Do you know what the symbol engine does and why so many

applications use it? Because in addition to the service listed, explore.exe

and wfica.exe are also faulting out listing this dll file as the problem

source.
