Hi and welcome to ExTS

The other computer is on the internet but will not connect with routher and will not ping router

I assume that you mean the problem computer used to have internet access ...... Is this correct ?

Are you connect to the router wirelessly or by ethernet cable ?

Do you get tthe same problem if you try both methods ?

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

The other computer is on the internet...

How is the 'other computer' connected to the Internet?

Are you sure you're pinging the right IP? The default, internal IP address for NETGEAR is 192.168.0.1. If you haven't changed it, you should have access to this IP, unless you previously made router setting changes.

For reference, here's MS Vista printer install guide: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Install-a-printer-on-a-home-network
