In terms of PC knowledge, how can I locate an IT tech who can train me on my HP?

I would like to find someone who can train me on my personal computer. I would like to know which processes it needs and does not need. I have completed a fair amount of research and have discovered the BIOS/UEIF update. The computer does have a bit of age; however, I have managed to update it enough to use it instead of work on it.
