Guest Clare Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 The colours used in Paint carry numbers identifying the hue, saturation and luminescence. Is it possible to find out what these numbers are for any particular colour? I don't mean the colours given in the colour box but a colour, say, in a jpeg image imported into or saved in Paint. -- Clare

First, use the eye dropper to select the color for which the data is being sought. Then under Colors, open Edit Colors and go to Define Custom Colors. The values for hue, saturation and luminesence as well as the Pantone color chip values should be displayed. HTH.
