Re: editing registry

it is your registry and

can do whatever you

want with it - it is your

right to learn more

about crazy stuff like

this.

personally, i wouldn't

bother with the keys

you mentioned.

however, the rule of thumb is

to always make a backup

of the registry whenever

you want to modify it -

just in case you need

to revert back.

one method is with

the system restore feature

built in windows. with it

you can backup those vital

system files to restore your

system.

however, because one

never really knows how

functional or dysfunctional

a pc might be, you should not

always rely on system restore

as the absolute method for

backing up the registry hive.

therefore in order to be doubly

sure that you have a fail safe

method to restore a registry use a

nifty little tool from here:

http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/

if restoring your reg is needed

i would use system restore

firstly.

Re: editing registry

In control panel---printers--right click on printer and delete.

Re: editing registry

Just go to the Print Server Properties, Driver Tab and remove them. (See

Print Server in Windows Help and Support)
