"Threats" Notification instantly removed in split second from opening laptop

(Windows 10) So whenever i open my laptop (i always completely shut it off when im done), i can see the taskbar windows security notification has a green checkmark, then after a second turns to the yellow warning thing then after 0.1 seconds goes away again. Does anyone know if this is just a glitch or malware stopping Windows security from actually detecting things? This happens often and i have no idea when it started. Every security setting is still on
