Guest Bobbi Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I'd like IE6 to display the details view of any folder so that all sub-folders are listed first and then files. Is there a way to achieve that? Bobbi

Guest Bobbi Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Re: Internet Explorer folders and files ooops! I'm sorry, I meant to say Windows Explorer! (My brain and my fingers are not connected.) On my hard drive, the folders are listed before all files. On my external hard drive, the folders are listed last, after all files. Why does Explorer behave differently? Is it controllable? Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Re: Internet Explorer folders and files [X-post removed] Thank you for the clarification. After configuring a folder the way you want it (via View dropdown menu), click on Tools | Folder Options | View | Folder view | Apply to All Folders. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Bobbi wrote: > ooops!
