Guest Larry Heimendinger Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I created a brand new domain and started with a reformatted hard drive for Windows 2003 standard server. Just about everything has gone exactly as planned, but i have started getting repeated 1054 error posts that the domain controller cannot be found and group policy processing has been terminated. Essentially, there are no other errors posted to event logs, and this one happens about every 5 minutes for a while, stops, then resumes some hours later (not predictable when). DNS looks fine, and netdiag reports no problems. The only thing i can add is that on this same box until a few weeks ago a SBS 2003 os copy was running and started having the same issue but with a few other weird bahaviors as well. Could this be a hardware related issue? The server is a Dell T105 with 4GB memory and is less than two months old.
