KenB Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Hi and welcome to ExTS Try running a System File Check. Start ....type in ......cmd.....DO NOT hit ENTER. In the top left you will see cmd > right click on this > Run as Administrator At the command prompt ( black screen ) type .......sfc /scannow ( space after sfc ) then hit ENTER You may be asked for the Win7 installation disk - if you don't have this let it run as far as it can. KenB Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Try Last Known Good Configuration Switch on or re-boot and constantly tap F8 ( about once per second ) At the Advanced Startup Options select Last Known Good Configuration.
