Guest Artificer Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 What kind of UPS is the most appropriate to use with servers?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Re: UPS For Server Hello Artificer, That is always the specific view of anybody itself. We use HP UPS, in earlier times from APC. Important is, that they have enough power for your needs and also the option/software to shutdown your servers in case of longer power failures, so that there is a controlled shutdown of the server before the UPS batteries are empty. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Re: UPS For Server Hello JohnB, We switched as much as possible hardware to HP, that was our reason. Switches and routers are all from CISCO.
