Guest imimiam Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 my system crashed system with a blue screen. I paid to have my data recovered. I replaced my hard drive and started from scratch. Now I can not install an old drawing program which I had running on the old hard drive. (same xp disc) The message reads windows can not run 16 bit applications. Insuficient memory available please quit one or more apps and try again. Any suggestions?

Guest imimiam Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 RE: windows can not run 16 bit programs Thanks for your help guys. But I failed to check the disk on another computer and it behaves the same way. Very strange. Sometimes with windows it becomes very easy to assume its the O.S. and you forget to check the obvious. For the first time in a long time my system is working properly.
