I have a share on Windows 2008 server where all users has co-owner rights.

In this share is an Application that is access compatible mdb files and is

multi user.

The software itself is installed on several Vista clients.

When the fist machine starts the app it's working fine, when the second

client wants to start, it waits unitl the first user closes the program,

after that the second client can work.

Anyone any idea?

In your situation, it seems the file is locked when one client open it.

Re: Share Application only one user can connect

That's a nice solution but as I have written, this is an application from

another commercial company.

So I can't change the databases

Sounds like it's a limitation of the application's database. Have you

consulted with the vendor?
