Hi,

Is there anyway to set up Windows to open programs and folders to their

maximum size by default ?

I use Outlook Express and if I open a mail it always come up not-maximized.

Same with Internet Explorer and some Windows Explorer folders.

I'm sure there's a way to do it but I don't know where to look.

Thanks, Jennifer.

RE: Setting folders and programs to maximize by default.

Try this:

Open the window, drag the sides until it fits the screen the way you like

it. Close the window by holding down the Alt key and clicking the close

button on the top right of the window (red X). The next time you open the

window it should remember its size. This procedure will work with most

programs.

Re: Setting folders and programs to maximize by default.

One thing I found that seems to work is to create a shortcut to the program

I want to run then change it's properties to Maximize for the "Run"

parameter.

Internet Explorer has its icon right on the desktop so creating a shortcut

to it seemed to do the trick.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the help.
