Guest dougfish Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I want to verify that XP machines running IE 6 have this fix installed: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929874/ How do I check this?
Guest John Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Re: How do I check if this fix for IE 6 is installed? If the patch is removable, it should be listed in Add/Remove Programs. Another way is to manually go to windows update site and let it detect updates. If the machines are fully patched at Windows Update, the fix is installed (as it's been included in the last 2 Cumulative Updates for IE). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ dougfish wrote: > I want to verify that XP machines running IE 6 have this fix installed: > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929874/ > > How do I check this?
