Hibernation problem

My laptop: Sony Varo- Microsoft Window XP Home edition Version 2002.

For few days now, when I finish my tasks and close the lid, the system goes

in hibernation as usual but will wake up after about 10 mines. or so.

I've checked the Power option in Control panel, hibernation is enabled,

memory for this is ok, other settings seem to be correct, just the Power

scheme is a little puzzling and here is where some of you could help?

Power schemes= VAIL Optimized

Setting for VAIO Optimized power scheme = 'Never' in all the options

Are these settings correct? Why does the system wake up after a short time

and if left untouched it gets very hot?

Any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Hibernation problem

Go into BIOS and verify 'wake on LAN' is not active.

Re: Hibernation problem

A Windows XP SP3-based computer loses wireless connectivity when it resumes

from standby or from hibernation, or you receive an error message when you

try to put the computer in standby or in hibernation:
