Guest Angie Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I just installed Window XP Professional on my home computer - now I am not able to use the CD drive. I can hear the that CD is is working but I think the drive is not mapped. I tried to map drive that displayed the dialog box with list of drives but the folder section is blank. What should I tyupe in that section to map the drive?

Fix the drive.

You might want to go into disk manager (right click My computer / Manage / Disk Manager) and make sure it has a drive label... -- + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Chris Barnes AOL IM: CNBarnes chris-barnes@tamu.edu Yahoo IM: chrisnbarnes
