network browsing is slow after 30 minutes

One of the SysAdmins created a domain account (Win2k Server) user with the

same name as the workstation name. Once someone logs into the domain using

this account browsing network shares is no problem, however, after 30 minutes

there's about a 5 minutes lag when trying to open up network shares? Can

someone tell me why this is happening?
