Hello KenB,

I have the same problem. I recently downloaded and installed 'Windows 7 Professional' to replace 'Windows 7 starter'. Ever since this problem has occured, but before the installation the netbook connected fine to the same router. Therefore I think I may have lost a crucial driver in the process. I have tried re-installing the os, and also a power cycle of my netbook and the router but neither worked. All I can see in the Network adapters section of the device manager is 'Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)' & 'Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)'. I dont know wether these are the correct network adapters or not (This is on my netbook, im not sure if that makes a difference or not). Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

Hello Netbookboy. Are you sure that the netbook's WLAN is on? There is usually a switch provided or a function key to do that so please check if that is enabled or not. Also, have you what make and model is the netbook?
