Guest mickf Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I've tried to modify a document but I can't make any changes at all. The cursor is immobile in the top left corner, I can't access any toolbars. I made a copy but that has the same problem. This is the only doc. that has this problem. I need to print copies but can't.
Guest David B. Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Re: frozen doc. Your question has nothing to do with XP, you should be posting to one of the Word groups. In the future please attempt to use a group appropriate to the subject of your post. Your problem is caused by a recent update to Office 2007, the fix to your problem is here. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940791 -- ---- Crosspost, do not multipost http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "mickf" <mickf@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B09BEA24-A259-475B-A121-A5719B63ABD5@microsoft.com... > I've tried to modify a document but I can't make any changes at all. Guest 3c273 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Re: frozen doc. Don't know what's wrong with your doc but can you right click on the file in Windows Explorer and select print? I need to print copies but can't. I have no idea how to help, since you haven't even told us what program you are trying to modify the document in. Moreover the problem is presumably one within that particular program, rather than with Windows itself, and your question would better be asked in a newsgroup devoted to that program. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup
